In Amelia Goes to the Ball, all Amelia wants is to attend the Ball, even if she has to murder her jealous husband, and condemn her poetic lover. A melodic comedy first performed at the Metropolitan Opera under Toscanini.

Barab's opera satire, La Pizza Con Funghi, is "a fictitious translation of a fictitious opera that might have been written by an obscure 19th century Italian composer." Voluptua murders her husband, Formaggio to wed her lover, Scorpio, etc., etc. Delicious music by the composer of Jewish Music from Oy to Vay.
