Directions
GETTING TO MENDOCINO
From San Francisco: North on Highway 101, West on Highway 128: Heading north from the Golden Gate Bridge, follow Highway 101 for approximately 80 miles to Cloverdale, CA. Take Highway 128 west from Cloverdale through the beautiful Anderson Valley, approximately 56 miles to its end at Highway 1 at the Navarro River. Head north on Highway 1 eleven miles to the town of Mendocino.
From San Francisco: North on Highway 1 : This drive will take a leisurely 5.5 to 6 hours to Mendocino from the Bay Area, and it is a beautiful and scenic alternative to busy Highway 101. From the Golden Gate Bridge, head west from the Highway 1 West/Muir Woods exit in Marin County for the full drive of approximately 165 miles.
From Sacramento: North on Interstate 5, West on Highway 20 : Take Interstate 5 north to Williams, then head west on Highway 20 to Highway 101. Continue north on Highway 101 to Willits, then follow Highway 20 west to its end at Highway 1 just south of Fort Bragg. Turn left to head 10 miles south to Mendocino. FINDING THE THEATER
From Highway 1 in Mendocino Head west at the only stoplight on Highway 1 south of Fort Bragg onto Little Lake Street. Proceed three blocks west to the stop sign at Lansing Street. Briefly turn south (left) onto Lansing Street, then take the first right to continue west on Little Lake Street. Proceed west to the stop sign at Kasten Street. The Mendocino Theatre Company and Helen Schoeni Theatre are located at the northeast corner of the Mendocino Art Center campus, just past the intersection of Little Lake and Kasten streets.
