Mendocino
Mendocino is an unincorporated village with approximately 823 year-round residents. Greater Mendocino has approximately 2,223 residents. The scenic historic village is located 150 miles north of San Francisco in a remote and beautiful region of the northern California coast. The city of Fort Bragg, a major metropolis by local standards with a population of 7,026, is located ten miles north of Mendocino. Greater Fort Bragg boasts a population of 14,410.
The Mendocino Coast is well-known for its arts community, an incredible coastline, miles of hiking trails, and its redwood forests.
