Stage 2
Stage 2 is MTC’s vehicle for producing new plays under development or special interest works not included in the main stage season. A second goal of Stage 2 is to provide a venue for new directors and actors to stretch their wings in a simplified production environment. Stage 2 productions are typically scheduled during the winter off season (usually in January or February) and have a limited runs of two to three weeks. Sometimes a production tried out in Stage 2 will migrate to the main stage in later seasons.
